58 Fixed operations employees.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

M-F 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Shifts are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sa 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Su 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Shifts are rotated 2 late shifts per week and 1 Sunday every 2 months.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All Honda specialty tools including lap tops and diagnostic software. Techs are expected to have their own hand tools and tool box. There is a tool purchase program for qualified entry level technicians.

What type of break room facility is provided?

TV, Fridge, coffee, ice machine and microwave.

How many bays does your shop have?

28 and 1 alignment rack

How many repair orders do you average per month?

3400

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts are requested by technicians electronically. Any part not in stock if ordered by 2pm usually is delivered by 6am next day.

What is your policy on side work?

We do not allow side work to be done on site as it is an insurance issue.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We do many fun activities for our employees like: tickets to the Rays, Buccaneers, and Lightning games, family picnics and paintball contests.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Shop pays for completed and passed ASEs. Shop pays for MFG training both on site and off premise including : Travel, Lodging, Food, and time at class.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Our mission statement is Growth Powered By People! How far you go depends on you and your drive. We have had many techs become service managers and service managers become fixed operations directors and even general managers!

Can you describe your performance review process?

Performance Reviews are each done at service manager's discretion.

What type of safety training is required?

Monthly safety meetings. On-line safety training at hire. Safety committee on site.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our senior technicians are afforded the opportunity to mentor new and upcoming techs.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

All Lithia stores are very involved in community events. Lithia Motors Inc. has great national community involvement including Lithia 4 Kids.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Our local stores and national recruiters are very involved with local High School vocational programs . Lithia Motors Inc. is a preferred employer at all national vocational schools.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

YOY growth has been incredible and projected to continue through the next 5 years. We are also implementing on-line service and sales through our new Driveway division!

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We do have an online application and it usually takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Applicants are phone screened by a recruiter and then an in person or phone interview is scheduled with the service manager.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

One on one question and answer with the service manager and shop foreman if available.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Assessments may be conducted prior to offer. Background, MVR and Drug Screens are conducted after offer and with hire being contingent to outcome.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

There are some assessments that are performed on line.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

We try to keep in contact with our candidates and a rejection or offer is usually made within a week.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Depending on the number of applicants it usually takes less than a week.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00/year

Flat Rate Master Certified Honda technician. Sign-On Bonus possible. We offer performance bonuses and weekly spiffs.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00/year

Flat Rate 100% completion of Honda self study. Sign-On Bonus possible. We offer performance bonuses and weekly spiffs

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00/year

Flat Rate 100% completion of Honda self study. We offer performance bonuses and weekly spiffs

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $20,000.00 - $32,000.00/year

Hourly Must have completed tech school or have 1 year experience in lube and minor maintenance. We offer performance bonuses and weekly spiffs

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00/year

Commission Pay Plan. Looking for 3 years of Advisor experience. We offer performance bonuses and weekly spiffs
